Continual Improvement Program (CIP)

The company has established and documented a procedure to ensure continual improvement of the effectiveness of the processes in the quality and environmental management system. Inputs from employees and customers are solicited in this endeavor. Specific methods in monitoring and analyzing these inputs are determined during management review meetings. Currently, employees satisfaction is monitored and analyzed through labor-management cooperation while customer satisfaction, through customer surveys. Improvement activities are set-up to encourage employees to have initiative and be creative to come up with effective improvement in their respective areas. Continual Improvement is implemented and monitored through CIP (CIC- Continual Improvements Program) and countermeasure team activities. CIP covers quality and productivity improvement opportunities, identification and implementation.

Training

Procedures for determining competence, identifying training needs, and providing training to all personnel performing work affecting conformity to product requirements, as well as quality and environmental requirements, are maintained. Training programs are consistent with the strategic needs of the business and the development of the individual. Training programs are implemented to achieve the necessary competence. CIC ensures that any personnel performing tasks for the company or on the company’s behalf, including those that have the potential to cause a significant impact on conformity to product requirements, as well as quality and the environmental requirements identified by CIC, are competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience, and retains associated records.

Continual improvement of employee well-being is one of the goals of the Human Resource department. The company has established labor-management cooperation(LMC) to solicit ideas for improvement from employees, may these be improvements in work environment, infrastructure, product, materials, equipment, work methods, or employee relations. Applicable work environment, needed to achieve conformity to product requirements, is managed. Work environment refers to physical and environmental factors including noise, temperature, humidity, lighting, and weather. Employee satisfaction is measured, monitored and improved through labor-management cooperation (LMC) meetings conducted monthly. Analysis result of labor-management cooperation (LMC) form part of the continual improvement programs discussed in the management review process. Related training modules have been identified with the objective of increasing employee competencies and involvement in achieving quality and environmental goals and targets of the company
